The good is that the AI is far tougher than previous years. This is my 4th year
in a row.

In previous years I was winning between 80 and 90 percent of Heisman . Now very difficult. In fact as others have said All American is more the Heisman level.

My huge beef is that some miscues by the team I am playing with are incomprehensible. Often when you hit the speed button, your player will fumble 10 or 20 YARDS when he is wide open without any opposing players in the immediate area.

It happens often enough that I almost wonder if it is a glitch in the game.

Again, I am not referring to the ordinary garden variety fumbles initiated by contact..rather when the R2 button is depressed in the PS3 version.

However when this glitch does not occur winning or losing can be very satisfying. In that the AI is what makes this a 4 out of 5 star game.

I have been a big fan of the NCAA Football series over the years. This game has a lot of great, fast action and is very entertaining. However, there are some problems. I found that the officiating in this game is worse than usual. I usually get one controversial call per game after review by instant replay and usually it is something that would have helped my momentum. I have even seen one instance where the official originally called the play correctly then overturned it. There are also some school songs missing, most notably my alma mater, Texas Tech. There is a mechanism to upload the songs, however, the previous editions already had this feature. Some other features I haven't really tried much yet. Overall, it is an okay game, but I wonder every year, after a dozen or so years, why many things are still missing from these games and why disk space is wasted on mascot games and other sideshows. Thanks for reading.

Wow! I honestly didn't think I was going to like this game as much as I do. You get tired of the same old thing coming out with a little tweak here and there every year. This years tweaks are freaking sweet though!!

TEAMBUILDER:
Outstanding addition! Once you get used to the online interface...this is a seriously cool little tool to play with. I should know...i spent about 6 hours on Saturday obsessing over the style I wanted to use for my teams pants. (OK...I didn't say I didn't have issues.) But seriously...really fun to create teams the way you think they should look and play, or to just add historic teams of your choosing.

PLAYER LOCK (Defense):
I have to say...this basically completes this games overall coolness rating for me. I always liked playing offense during franchise and playing defense during Campus Legend. Now...you get the best of both worlds. There is a bit of a glitch with the time before the snap. (Too short) But these are small issues that become near invisible after some experience with the game is gained.

There are other little tweaks that i really like...that would go almost un-noticed if you had never played the game before. (Like the QB slipping at the end of his drop in the rain/snow.)But the overall game is still relatively the same from last year. All-in-all...a very fun game that doesn't really have much left to improve upon as far as I'm concerned.

This game is definitely worth buying.

this is a very good game. the only drawback that i can think of is poor quality cut scenes, or rather the scenes with a particular university team mascot, i.e. whenever the WR celebrates a touchdown, the people in the stands look almost cartoonish. this is just nitpicking though. otherwise, its a very good game. i havent played this series since probably '05 when i bought it for PS2, but i am certainly not disappointed in purchasing this game for my PS3. i havent played the '09 or any other previous next-gen versions, so i cant compare this version with previous ones on the basis of graphics and/or features that it has or missing but i think that fans of college football wont be disappointed at all.
