You get a controller and a charging unit bundled together here.
As far as the Play and Charge Kit is concerned…
This is a must have with your 360 and a controller.
You can plug it in via USB to your Xbox 360 and charge the included battery pack while you play your game.
You can also remove your battery pack, and plug the cable directly to your 360 for wired gaming (so your controller won’t shut off while you are in the middle of that hired driver Forza race.
This charges via any USB port on your 360, your computer, your cable box, or your dog (if he has included USB hub).
I recommend buying one of these, then buying the Quick Charge Kit. Then you’ll have 2 battery packs, the quick charge dock, and a USB charge cable.
As far as the controller is concerned, it’s a great color, and is your typical xbox 360 controller otherwise. Great ergonomics and fits in your color scheme whether you have the black or white console.

It’s great to be able to play while connected to the charge cable and shows no interruption to the connection when I play my games. However, it seems that the energy consumption of the rechargeable battery is rapid and usually after around 15-20 hours of use the battery needs to be recharged again. The design of the charge cord is somewhat faulty because the connection to the top of the controller is very tight and the way to remove it is to yank the cord from the controller. It makes me somewhat frightened that I would damage the controller itself because of all the force needed to remove it. Overall, I enjoy the color and it helps me distinguish my “personal” Halo controller from my other white ones and there is no noticeable difference in quality between the black and white wireless controllers.

The Controller I purchased arrived quickly to my house and was carefully packed in its box. There was no damage to the controller, as it was in its original, official, factory sealed package. My own personal rating for this product and its seller is 5/5.
