This game was passable. My kids liked it except they did not understand why the Superheroes were fighting each other. I did not either, not being familiar with the “Cival War”. But then I did learn and I was laughing pretty hard. So, in a society where you need to register to own a gun, its a big deal to register when you are the equivalent of a nuclear weapon? Gimme a break. Anyway, once I explained to the kids the heroes are fighting because some writer has the political sense and common sense of a comic book store owner they understood exactly. Well, no they didn’t. But they still liked it. Personally, I found it kind of simplistic and dull.

Good game overall but I thought the first game was better. The first thing that bothered me is superheroes from the first game are not in the 2nd coming. For example Blade, Panther, and Electra. How hard is it to keep what you already have. Especially since there are so few non white superheroes. The melee attacks seem watered down from the last game too. Lots of glitches like your controlled guy trying to ground attack A standing enemy. Also no more unlocked suit attributes and only 2 costumes. Fury is a joke when unlocked, he is just a mix of a few other charters moves, lame Fury was much better in the first game. Goblin a joke so is Penance. Hulk is good but he can’t regenerate like Wolverine and Deadpool, are you kidding me?! At least give him that. The big plus in this game is the story line. Much better then last year with the Hero war going on. Online is a joke also but you can use Juggernaut. All in all watered down attacks and charters but better storyline. I would still buy but expected more from this game. Who knows maybe they will nickel and dime us like Call of Duty and make use purchase new Heroes.

This game is a lot of fun to play! The gameplay is pretty much the same as the first MUA but with a few extras. The fusions are pretty cool and the graphics are awesome. Some cut sceens can be a little laggy (a few ripples or line shifts). I love the story and the great selection of heroes to choose from. If you have played the first MUA I beleive you will really enjoy this one. If you have not played the first MUA then I would recommend purchasing either one because they are both excellent games to play….especially if you are a Marvel comic veteran!

First I will say I have enjoyed the previous X-Men Legends games and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. This game is not too much different though they have upped the graphics. I also like how there are more team up attacks available compared to the first game. It is easier to change your perks and add ons without having to go to the pause menu. I will say that the plot starts out pretty good. I would say that the third act of the game is where it kind of falls flat.
